Where do Crystal Destiny crystals come from?

We source our crystals directly from trusted miners and ethical suppliers around the world, including Brazil, Madagascar, Morocco, India, and the United States. Each stone is hand-selected for quality, energy, and authenticity.

Are your crystals natural or dyed?

Most of our crystals are 100% natural. Where a stone is dyed, heat-treated, or lab-enhanced (such as Aura Quartz or Chakra Agate), we clearly state this in the product description.

How do I cleanse my crystal when it arrives?

We recommend cleansing your crystal before first use to clear any energy from handling and shipping. Common methods include placing it under moonlight overnight, using sound (singing bowl or bells), burning sage or palo santo nearby, or setting it on a selenite charging plate for a few hours.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items in their original condition. Because crystals are natural and unique, slight variations in color, pattern, and size are normal and not considered defects. Contact us at support@crystaldestiny.com to start a return.

How is my order packaged?

All crystals are carefully wrapped in tissue paper and cushioned with bubble wrap or foam padding inside a sturdy box. Larger or more delicate pieces receive extra protection.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within the contiguous United States. Orders over $100 qualify for free shipping. Standard shipping is $7.00. We are working on expanding international shipping.

What crystals are good for beginners?

The best starter crystals are clear quartz (amplifies intention and energy), amethyst (calming and intuitive), black tourmaline (grounding and protective), rose quartz (self-love and compassion), and selenite (cleansing and clarity). These are versatile, widely available, and easy to work with for anyone new to crystals.

How do I know if my crystal is real or fake?

Genuine crystals are typically cool to the touch, heavier than glass fakes, and have natural inclusions or slight imperfections. Perfect clarity with zero inclusions often indicates glass or resin. At Crystal Destiny, all crystals are sourced directly from trusted suppliers and are authenticated before listing. We always disclose treatments, dyes, or lab enhancements in the product description.

Can I sleep with crystals or wear them all day?

Yes — many people sleep with crystals nearby or under their pillow, and wear them as jewelry throughout the day. Calming stones like amethyst, selenite, and rose quartz are popular for sleep. Energizing stones like citrine or carnelian are better suited for daytime wear. Trust your own sensitivity — if a stone feels too stimulating at night, move it to your nightstand instead.

Will my crystal fade in sunlight?

Amethyst, citrine, and rose quartz can fade with prolonged direct sunlight exposure. Brief sun charging under an hour is fine, but avoid leaving them in a sunny window long-term. Moonlight is the safest charging method.

Chakra Connection

Amethyst is traditionally linked with calm, intuition and restful sleep, and its purple color connects it with the Crown and Third Eye chakras. Many people work with it during meditation, journaling or quiet moments of intention-setting. Explore more stones like it in our Sleep and Relaxation and Peace and Tranquility collections.

How to Use

Display it on a shelf or desk with the crystal cave facing the light.
Place it on your nightstand as a calming presence in the bedroom.
Set it on your altar as a symbol of hidden beauty and inner calm.
Pair it with selenite or rose quartz to build a small crystal set around the same intention.

Crystal Care

Keep it out of strong, direct sunlight for long periods, since its color can soften over time. Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and dry it fully. Avoid harsh cleaners and store it apart from harder stones. Moonlight, sound and smoke are gentle ways to cleanse it. For more tips, see which crystals to keep out of the sun.

FAQs

Is this real amethyst?

Yes. This is natural amethyst, and its color, pattern and inclusions vary from piece to piece. Those natural differences are part of what makes each one unique.

What size is it?

Each numbered geode lists its weight and size, from about 58-88mm and 148-446g. Choose the number that suits your space.

What is an amethyst dinosaur egg?

It is a small, rounded amethyst geode whose shape resembles an egg. The outside is rock, and the opened face shows a cave of purple crystals.

What Is Amethyst?

Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz, colored by traces of iron and natural radiation in the earth. Its shade can range from pale lilac to deep violet, often within a single piece. Amethyst is hard and durable, but long exposure to strong sunlight can slowly fade its color.
