What Is Crystal Destiny Sage?
Sage is a crystal library and recommendation tool built into our store, so the stones it suggests connect to what we actually carry. Some people simply call it our crystal quiz.
Each stone has a plain-language summary, its mineral basics and its traditional associations. Think of Sage as a well-organized field guide, not medical advice.

Across the top you'll see the Sage bar: All Crystals, My Collection, Help and an EXIT button that takes you back to the store.
Step 1: Search or Tap a Quick Intention
The fastest way in is the search bar under the quiz button. Results filter as you type.
- Click the search bar that says "Search by name, property, or meaning."
- Type a word such as Amethyst, Calm or Sleep.
- Scroll the crystal cards that appear below the tabs.
- Click any card to open its full profile.

Searching "sleep" brings up stones such as Aura Howlite, Blue Calcite and Celestine, which many people use at bedtime. If you'd rather shop that list directly, our Sleep and Relaxation crystals collection gathers them in one place.
The Quick Intentions pills run the same search in one tap. Under them sit four tabs: Crystal of the Day, By Chakra, Find Match and All Crystals.

Each card shows a few small icons. The scale adds the stone to the comparison bar, the heart saves it, a calendar icon marks a birthstone, and a skull icon flags a stone with a safety warning.
Step 2: Take the Crystal Quiz
Not sure where to start? The quiz takes about a minute.
- Click Take the Crystal Quiz or the Find Match tab, then click Start Quiz.
- Pick your primary intention, such as Peace and Calm, Love and Connection, or Protection and Safety.
- Choose the area that feels blocked. Each option is tied to a chakra, from Root (stability) to Crown (spirituality), with a General Balance choice if you're unsure.
- Pick the element that calls to you: Fire, Water, Earth or Air.
- Choose your zodiac sign.
- Tell Sage how your energy feels right now, from stressed or anxious to grateful and blessed.

After a short pause, you'll see three crystal matches, with your strongest pick marked Good Match. Click any match to read its profile, or click Retake Quiz to try different answers.

Step 3: Read a Crystal Profile
Here's what a profile shows, using Celestine as the example.

- Top of the page: the stone's name, a rarity tag (Common, Uncommon and so on) and a one-line description.
- Metaphysical Properties: the traditional associations, such as calm and communication for Celestine.
- Associated Chakras: a primary chakra plus any secondary ones, along with the zodiac signs it's a birthstone for.
- Crystal Summary: a short, factual overview, plus crystal system and chemical composition.
- Stats: rarity, Mohs hardness, element, planet, zodiac signs, cleansing methods and a numerical vibration.
When we carry the stone, a Shop button sits under the summary. On Celestine it reads Shop Celestine and opens our Celestite crystals (celestine and celestite are two names for the same mineral). Under it, a Read More button opens our guide to that stone, or to its crystal family or color when it doesn't have its own guide yet.

At the bottom, Harmonious Companions suggests six stones that pair well with the one you're reading. Use the share buttons to send a profile to a friend; each profile has its own link.

Step 4: Compare and Save Crystals
- Click the scale icon on up to 3 crystal cards. A Compare bar appears at the bottom of the screen.
- Click Compare.
- Read the rows: summary, chakras, properties, element, planet, zodiac and Mohs hardness.
- Click Clear on the bar to start over.

The example above sets Rose Quartz against Clear Quartz. Both are Mohs 7 quartz, but rose quartz is traditionally a heart stone while clear quartz is known as the all-purpose amplifier.
To save a stone, click its heart. Your saved stones appear under My Collection in the Sage bar. They're stored in your browser, so clearing your browser data or switching devices starts a fresh list.

Step 5: Explore by Chakra and Crystal of the Day
The By Chakra tab shows a body chart with the seven main chakras. Click a point, or one of the buttons beside it, to list the stones traditionally linked to that energy center.

Prefer to shop that way? Every chakra has its own collection: Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye and Crown. For a walkthrough of all seven, read Crystals for All 7 Chakras.
The Crystal of the Day tab features one stone each day with its chakra, element, rarity, a daily affirmation and key properties. Click Explore Full Profile to dig deeper.

Using Sage for Scorpio Season
Scorpio season runs from October 23 to November 21. The quiz's zodiac question lets you pick Scorpio, and each profile lists the signs a stone is traditionally linked with. Malachite, for example, shows Scorpio among its birthstone signs.
For a ready-made selection, browse our Scorpio crystals, and see the Complete Guide to Zodiac Crystals for every sign.
Care and Safety Information in Sage
Every profile lists cleansing methods such as moonlight, sound, smoke or selenite. Stones that need extra care carry a red safety box near the top of the profile.

Malachite is a good example. It's a copper carbonate with a Mohs hardness of about 4, so Sage advises washing your hands after handling it, never making direct elixirs, and keeping it away from children and pets. Celestine is soft and brittle at about 3.5 and can fade in strong sun, so keep it dry and out of bright windows. Rose and clear quartz handle a quick rinse well, though rose quartz can also fade in direct sun.
For the full list of stones that need care, read our Crystal Safety Guide: Toxic Crystals.
Shop by Intention
If the quiz pointed you toward calm, the Peace and Tranquility Crystal Bundle pairs howlite, celestite and bloodstone in one set, a simple start for anyone building a quiet evening or meditation routine.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Crystal Destiny Sage free to use?
Yes. Sage is completely free and you don't need an account. You can search, take the Crystal Quiz, read every profile, compare stones and save favorites without signing in. Saved stones live in your browser, so they stay put as long as you use the same browser and don't clear its data.
How accurate is the Crystal Quiz?
The quiz matches your answers about intention, chakra, element, zodiac sign and current energy to the traditional associations recorded for each stone. It's a starting point, not a verdict. If a different stone keeps catching your eye, read its profile and trust your own response to it.
What does Material In Stock mean in Sage?
The green Material In Stock badge means Crystal Destiny carried that stone when Sage last checked. Items can sell out between checks, so the Shop button on a profile always takes you to the current listings.
Why did my saved crystals disappear?
My Collection is stored in your browser, not on our servers. Clearing cookies or site data, browsing privately, or switching to another phone or computer starts a new, empty list. To keep a list long term, save it in the same browser you usually shop with.
Can Sage tell me which crystals are safe in water?
Each profile shows Mohs hardness and cleansing methods, and stones with toxic elements carry a red safety warning. Soft stones such as celestine and malachite should stay dry. When in doubt, choose a dry method like moonlight, sound or smoke from the profile's cleansing list.
Can I use Sage on my phone?
Yes. Sage works in any mobile browser on our site, and the tabs, quiz and comparison window resize to fit smaller screens. Tap a card to open a profile and use the share buttons to send it to a friend or save the link for later.
Final Thoughts
Sage brings our crystal knowledge into one easy place: search when you know what you want, take the quiz when you don't, and read the profile before you buy. Crystals can support a calm routine, but they never replace professional care.
Your next step: open Sage from the link at the top of this guide, take the 5-question quiz, and see which three stones come up for you today. If calm is what you're after, start with the Peace and Tranquility Crystal Bundle mentioned above.
