    Lapis lazuli is a deep blue stone flecked with golden pyrite and streaks of white calcite. It has been mined in Afghanistan for more than 6,000 years and was ground into the blue pigment used by Renaissance painters. It is traditionally linked with wisdom, truth and the Third Eye Chakra.
