sphalerite-quartz-tower
Sphalerite in Quartz Tower

This sphalerite in quartz tower pairs dark, earthy sphalerite crystals with clear and milky quartz in a polished obelisk, with brown, black and honey-colored patches suspended inside like a frozen storm. Some pieces flash warm resin-like luster where sphalerite meets the polish. Each tower is numbered with its own weight and height, about 50-121mm tall and 68-198g, so you choose the exact piece you like. It is a distinctive collector's tower and a grounding gift.

Product Highlights

Material: Natural sphalerite in quartz

Shape: Polished tower from our Crystal Towers collection

Options: Thirty-five numbered towers, about 50-121mm tall and 68-198g, each listed with its weight and height

Exact Pick: You receive the exact numbered tower you select

Natural variation: The amount and placement of dark sphalerite differ from tower to tower

Chakras: Traditionally linked with the Root Chakra and Solar Plexus Chakra

Look: Brown and black sphalerite in clear to milky quartz

Chakra Connection

Sphalerite is traditionally connected to the root and solar plexus chakras. It is associated with grounding, vitality, strength and a steady sense of balance, and is often chosen during busy, demanding seasons when energy runs low. Its quartz host is traditionally said to add clarity and amplify a stone's qualities. The tower shape adds its own symbolism of focus, traditionally seen as directing a stone's energy upward, which suits this grounding, strengthening pairing. In these towers it appears as dark brown to black crystals within quartz, giving each piece a bold, earthy look. Its name comes from a Greek word meaning treacherous, because miners often mistook it for lead ore. Gem-quality sphalerite can show more fire than diamond, and collectors prize specimens with bright, well-formed crystals. Combined with quartz, it makes a striking, unusual tower.

Further Reading

<a
